This bank holiday Monday is Newcastle Record Fair at the Royal Station Hotel on Neville Street. Starts at 10am, admission is £1.50.

John Cooper-Clarke plays Newcastle Academy on 4th October.
As well as the man himself, we also have a top local comedian ( name to be confirmed later this week ) and an acoustic set with a difference from Cal Payne,who sings for local band Sunday 68 and we also have an appearance by a lad from Yorkshire, Cayn, who styles himself on JCC himself. As Cayn himself says, “I have been passionate about talking bollocks since 2005 !”

Here’s an excellent gig for all fans of anarcho punk. Flux of Pink Indians, Subhumans, Rubella Ballet and Restarts are playing Islington Academy on Saturday 29th November. It’s £12.50 for a ticket.
