An associate has published a book, it’s a crime thriller about an old record shop and a northern rock ‘n roll band and the front cover artwork was done by none other than Mike Coles of Killing Joke and The Orb. Ity’s a DIY effort by Mike Tweedle who is an independent film maker, so worthy of support.

THE SECRET OF FEEDBACK- SYNOPSIS

When the remains of a body are found behind a wall in an abandoned shop (Feedback Records), in a Northern English town, Detective Carl Swarbrick is assigned to the case. Swarbrick discovers the remains are those of a former roadie for a local band: a band that would go on to leave its indelible mark on the musical world.

As a bunch of young and care free wannabees, Molotov Postcard could never have imagined that they would go on to become one of the globe’s biggest, and most infamous, rock ‘n roll groups. The band finally imploded in spectacular style on a tour of the United States and it seemed nothing, or no-one, would ever get them back together. Their equally infamous, and tenacious, manager, Big Tom, sets off on a mission to track down the members of the “Postcard” in some of the more bizarre and inhospitable parts of the States.

The original line up of Molotov Postcard are reunited and announce a huge comeback gig in their home town. Swarbrick realises that the secret of Feedback Records may now be finally revealed. However, with an army of obsessive fans, a group of incompetent neo-Nazis and a hired assassin all on the loose it appears that someone is about to spoil the party – unless Molotov Postcard beat them to it.
