They may have been chart-topping household names but they also made innovative, creative and credible pop music. We’re talking rtists such as: Adam Ant, Gary Numan, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Orchrestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Soft Cell etc., none of that manufactured rubbish that permeates the charts now.
